Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit). As a PACU Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia. This role can be part-time or per-diem.

Duties:
- Monitor patients' vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels
- Assess patients' pain levels and administer appropriate pain management interventions
- Provide post-operative care and ensure patients are stable before transferring them to the next level of care
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Perform airway management techniques as needed
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
- Educate patients and their families about post-operative care instructions

Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
- Valid RN license in the state of Arizona
- Previous experience working in a PACU or ICU setting is preferred
- Familiarity with Advantx/EZcharts or other electronic medical record systems is a plus
- Ability to work with diverse patient populations, including children and adults
- Proficient in airway management techniques

-Skilled in conscious sedation and monitoring is a plus
- Skilled in administering injections and other medications
